I have played the piano and have writen songs for as long as I can remember.

I am a grade 8 classically trained vocalist; have studied at ACM and was awarded a scholarship to BIM. I am a PRS registered songwriter and  have had the privilage of working with  some outstanding musicians and producers including Martyn Ford, Thao Nguyan,  Rodger Pope, ABC, Boys Don’t Cry, Winstone Sela, Julia  Fordham, Paul Eastham and Jonathan Fashole Luke to name just a few. I write alone and  in collaberation. I am published by Bluewater Music a Nashville based publishing company. I am happy to work with a band or perform with my keyboard.

Main influence acredited to the range of eclectic music soaked up, the work of Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, John Hiatt, Elvis Costello and Don Henley songwriters that shaped the sound of her childhood along with Donald Fagen and Walter Becker -Steely Dan, songs that have a timeless quality about them due to edgy songwriting, acerbic lyrics, musicality and innovation. Pop Americana and Pop~Americana crossover bands like Lady Antebellum. Maroon 5 for interesting treatment of pop melody. Etta James, Aretha Franklyn, Bonnie Raitt, Beyonce Knowles, Adele as singers. First great musical love; musical theatre, and the big sounds from the Disney classics.
